Sunrise in St. George

we went to st. george for a few days. i was able to do some scrapbooking, and watch movies. dave went shooting and four wheeling. derick and j.j. were able to be with us for a day, i believe all of us had a good time. alee was able to come to the resort and do a bit of scrapbooking, but she has a very busy life, so she wasn't able to do as much as she would have liked.

one morning i couldn't sleep, and when i looked out the back of our unit this is the sight that awaited me. so of course i grabbed my camera and started shooting.

it is so much easier to shoot scenery and beautiful sunrises that it is to shoot people. i have tried my hand at taking family photos. it is tough. one thing about picture taking is, the more mistakes you make, the better you will be. of course, i am going to be wonderful, because i make a tremendous amount of mistakes. since my last two and only two family shoots are for family maybe they will be nice to me anyway.
