Happy Birthday Dave

Oh, somebody had a birthday, our little dave dear, may Father in Heaven bless you through out the coming year. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear dave, happy birthday to you.

since dave had to work today, we actually celebrated his birthday last night. it was a wonderful day. the kids got together and opened christmas presents from each other, and we had a birthday party. as the family grows this house gets busy when we have all our kids here, and both dave and i would have it no other way. it is our greatest blessing when we have all of our kids here. derick did have to go to work and we missed him when he left. but we feel fortunate that he was able to be with us for as long as he was.

i put five candles on dave's birthday cake, one representing each of his grandkids. when he went to blow them out he had the four come and help him. he figured gracie wouldn't be much interested.

Dave is a wonderful husband and friend to me. he is a great dad, and grandpa. he loves his family more than we realize. I hope he had a good day in spite of having to spending all of it work.
